Keller Marine & RV Announces the Retirement of Longtime Product Manager Melissa Bilger After 42 Years of Service

Photo of Melissa Bilger Keller Marine & RV proudly announces the retirement of one of its most respected and longest-serving team members, Melissa Bilger, who concluded her remarkable 42-year career with the company on October 24, 2025. Her retirement date marked exactly 42 years from the day she began her tenure on October 24, 1983.

"Melissa was already part of Keller Marine & RV when I started full time in 1986," said Mike Keller, President of Keller Marine & RV. "She began her career keying and releasing orders, preparing certificates of origin, and managing Dometic parts purchasing for my father. Over the years, she grew with the company, and the company grew because of people like her."

Melissa spent many years in inside sales before transitioning into special orders—a role in which she created and developed the company's first Special Order Department. Her success and expertise in that area led her to the role of Product Manager, a position she held until her final day.

Throughout her career, Melissa became known among dealers and vendors as a trusted, knowledgeable, and highly reliable partner. As digital content became critical to industry success, she led the development of the KVendor Portal, working closely with vendors to ensure their digital assets and product information met the highest standards.

"Melissa's attention to detail was second to none. Everything she worked on was checked and double-checked," Keller added. "Her commitment, loyalty, and work ethic helped transform Keller from a small regional marine distributor into a strong, multi-warehouse RV and marine distribution company. She is one of the best teammates ever to work at Keller Marine & RV."

Melissa's leadership, professionalism, and unwavering dedication leave a lasting legacy. She will be greatly missed by her colleagues, dealers, and vendors alike.

Keller Marine & RV Announces the Retirement of one our longest-serving Inside Sales Representatives Robert “Griff” Griffin.

Photo of Robert Griffin In the fall of 1991, I was introduced to a salesman who had made a name for himself in inside sales at Mohawk Trailer Supply. Robert "Griff" Griffin was his name, and he brought with him a wealth of RV industry experience. Griff grew up in the automotive business and owned a car repair business before entering the RV industry. He always had a passion for the RV parts business and for the customers he served — a passion that, I believe, came in part from having once been a dealer himself.

Keller was preparing to open its first cross dock in Albany, New York, and Griff was the person I wanted to build that territory. He came highly recommended throughout the industry, and I wanted someone dealers would already know and trust. Griff was that guy.

Griff and I then hired a sales and delivery driver for the territory named Charlie Siwik. Together, Griff and Charlie began building what would later become Keller Marine & RV's New England Cross Dock.

Griff's passion was always in parts sales, so in 1998 he left Keller to work for a small dealership in Albany called Albany Sales and Rentals. Under the leadership of Don Strollo, that dealership later became RVONE and grew into one of the largest RV dealership groups on the East Coast, with multiple locations.

Griff also spent a brief time in outside sales with RH Scales before returning to Keller Marine & RV in 2009 to get back to what he loved most — inside sales. He remained in that role until announcing his retirement on May 1, 2026.

All told, Griff dedicated more than 25 years to Keller Marine & RV and built a loyal following of customers throughout the industry. All of us at Keller Marine & RV will miss his wit, energy, and dedication. Griff will always be remembered here as the man who helped launch Keller's expansion from a single-location distributor in the Mid Atlantic into a multi-state distributor serving nearly 30 states daily.

It is with great admiration and appreciation that I announce the retirement of one of our longest-serving inside sales representatives, Robert “Griff” Griffin.
