Chad Othoudt - Tribute

September 28, 2026 - It is with a heavy heart that I write this tribute to all of you about Chad. Chad was the most committed to his job, of anyone I have ever known. When Chad took on a task he did it with a passion that was
unmatched. At Keller Marine & RV Chad was always a team player. He always put himself second to the team in anything he did. Chad was always the first to volunteer for any new effort at Keller and even when he had more on his
desk than he could possibly complete, he volunteered to do more. Chad spent nearly 20 years as a service tech and service manager at several RV dealerships and was a wealth of knowledge. When he came to Keller he started as a
sales and delivery driver and then went on to be a sales coordinator. The whole time Chad recruited and cheered on his fellow Keller teammates. Chad believed in taking care of his customers and that made him a great Keller team
member. When the opportunity to maintain and manage the Keller vehicle fleet came available Chad stepped up for that position. He was always trying to better the maintenance program. Chad ran the program like it was his own and
he never wavered on safety and commitment to the program. To know Chad was to love Chad. He lived his life at wide open throttle. Chad was either asleep or going 100 miles per hour. He was fun loving and his fellow team members
loved him. Chad had a nick name for everyone. For me it was boss man. He never referred to anyone by their given name. Sometimes the names were affectionate and other times comical, but whenever and whatever he called you, you
could not avoid it. If Chad was at the convenience market and he saw you, he would yell your nickname from as far away as he had to. Chad could get volume out of those lungs and so avoiding him if he saw you was not going to
happen. He loved people and did everything he could to be a friend to anyone he knew. If he was driving down the road and saw someone broke down he would stop and offer to help. He never missed the chance to help someone in
need. Chad grew up on a farm in Minnesota and that hard working farmer in him never left him. He was always there to help his coworkers or a stranger. I know right now he is in heaven telling me to stop talking so highly of
him. He would love it, but be embarrassed by me at the same time. Right now he is giving me that famous Chad smirk and saying, “Enough Boss Man”! Therefore I will just say this. Chad we will miss you. But we will go forward
better for having known you and will work to meet a standard that you set for yourself and this company.
