Diamond Board slide out subfloors are built to commercial standards with quality materials. We start with cabinet grade imported hardwoods with minimal blemishes and layer it in a cross grain pattern, laminating it with industrial strength adhesive. Next, it is sealed in a vacuum chamber for 24 hours at a pressure equal to 1 atmosphere (approximately 10,000lbs of force.) This removes moisture and pulls the adhesive into the pores of the wood. Then, We cut a 65 degree bevel the full length of the board matching the needed angle for standard slide out subfloor replacement material. Finally, We coat the entire board to create a moisture barrier for storage and shipping purposes. We recommend using the suggested moisture barrier product below to prep the board for installation. | |||||
